Blogging Alliance of Non-Partisan Canadians Blogroll

Location: http://nonpartisans.ca/join.shtml

Criteria:

Mission Statement

The Blogging Alliance of Non-Partisan Canadians gathers together Canadian bloggers, regardless of political affiliation, to celebrate and increase awareness of the diversity of thought within the Canadian blogosphere, and to increase the profile and traffic of member websites.

Do I Qualify?

The qualifications for membership are as follows:

1. Are you Canadian?
2. Do you have a blog?
3. Do you consider yourself to have a relatively open mind?
4. Are you NOT a member of a partisan blogging association, meaning one dedicated to a particular Canadian political party, such as the Green Bloggers, the Blogging NDP, the LibLogs or the Blogging Tories, or…
5. Is your site multi-partisan, meaning that you belong to more than one of the partisan blogging associations listed above?

If so, then you qualify. It’s as simple as that.

The Blogging Alliance of Non-Partisan Canadians is happy to attract a wide range of bloggers. Your blog does NOT have to be political in order to belong. Indeed, cultural blogs or photoblogs are welcome as they add to the diversity of the group. Likewise, if you have committed yourself to a particular political party, this does NOT disqualify you, so long as you haven’t already joined one of the partisan blogrolls mentioned above. We are seeking only to grant traffic to a diverse set of quality bloggers who are uncomfortable with joining the explicitly partisan blogrolls in the Canadian blogosphere. We only ask that you display the BANPC blogroll code, so that all the members of the BANPC can benefit from the link your membership provides.

Sites which meet the criteria when they joined the BANPC, and which went on to join other partisan blogging associations will NOT be asked to leave the BANPC. They can stay as part of a grandfather clause. Members of the Progressive Bloggers, the Liberty Logs and the Red Ensign Brigade are also welcome to join.

We do reserve the right to refuse membership, however, to pornographic websites, sites advocating hate in contravention of Canada’s legal code, or other things that could get members of this alliance into trouble.

Joining Up

Place the following code somewhere on your website. It can be on your main template, or it can be on a separate links page, but we would appreciate it if you include this blogroll code because that’s how other BANPC members get the benefit of your membership, and vice versa.

Once you do this, send me an e-mail containing your name, your e-mail address, your blog name, your blog’s URL and your blog’s RSS or Atom feed (if you have one). You can e-mail me by clicking on the button below:

You can also click the above button to e-mail me if you have any questions about the BANPC.

Witanagemot Club Blogroll

Location: http://www.toque.co.uk/witan/modules/articles/article.php?id=1

Criteria:

The Witanagemot Club is a collection of bloggers that belief England should have its own parliament.

To be a member of the Witanagemot Club you should agree with our aims and you must be a blogger. In addition you will be prepared to provide a permanent link back to the Witanagemot homepage from the main page of your blog and, if at all possible, carry the Witanagemot blogroll.

If this sounds like you then you are all set to become a Witanagemot Club member; simply email us using the contact form and we will add you to the blogroll and hopefully provide answers to any relevant questions that you may have.

Members of the club are expected to bitch and moan as often as possible about the political discrimination against England; send traffic the way of other blogs if possible; and, highlight the undemocratic regionalisation of our country.

The main purrpose of the Witanagemot Club is that we are a more effective force working together.

What You Acheive by Joining

By joining the Witanagemot Club you are joining a group of bloggers that believe that England should have its own parliament; you become part of a blogging movement that hopes to acheive a parliament for England. Becoming part of that movement by affiliating yourself to us is an positive affirmation of your belief, and of ours.

We do not ask the bloggers of the Witanagemot Club to agree on what form a future English parliament should take, or on the role of the Union and function of the UK thereafter. There are many different solutions to the English Question and we do not expect members to agree on the constitutional solutions. Far from it. This club exists to highlight the issues; to argue against the Status Quo; to promote the cause of an English parliament; and, to disseminate ideas to the wider blogosphere and general public. In short, you get to argue with other members.

We welcome bloggers from each end of the political spectrum - this is a single-issue campaign - so you find common cause with bloggers of differing political persuasions.

New members are invited to join the Witanagemot Club email group to put them in contact with fellow members to coordinate activity and swap ideas.

You will be added to the Witanagemot Club blogroll and, if your blog has an RSS feed your content will be syndicated on the Witanagemot Club page.
